DecisionPoint Announces Grapevine™ Push-to-Talk Software Version 1.2

Grapevine is DecisionPoint’s cloud-based Push-to-Talk software for Windows Mobile phones and Windows PCs. Grapevine is “always on” and enables instant voice communication over any carrier or Wi-Fi network.

The Grapevine version 1.2 release focuses specifically on improved usability and reliability of the user experience. Some of the new key features include:

• Reduced wireless data usage and battery consumption while idle.
• Faster status updates, especially when one of the contacts loses network connectivity.
• Improved reliability through device-side software streamlining and simplification.
• Compatibility with upcoming BlackBerry and Android releases.
