DecisionPoint Systems, Inc.’s Grapevine™ Push-to-Talk Software Receives Motorola Enterprise Mobility Validation

Foothill Ranch, CA — March 7, 2011 – DecisionPoint Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: DNPI), a leading provider of field workforce-based automation solutions, today announced its Grapevine™ Push-to-Talk software solution has received Enterprise Mobility Validation from Motorola Solutions. Grapevine received validation through Motorola’s Enterprise Mobility Validated Solution Program, which included testing of common customer usage scenarios and validation at Motorola’s state-of-the-art testing facility. Working closely with the Motorola EMS engineers, Grapevine has been tested and co-validated on the full line of Motorola ruggedized mobile computers and all four major U.S. cellular carriers and Wi-Fi interoperability.

Grapevine delivers an “always on” Push-to-Talk solution over the Internet and Wi-Fi and keeps workforces connected no matter how widely dispersed, enabling users to improve communications while reducing costs. Grapevine Push-to-Talk is a cloud-based, worry-free Software as a Service (SaaS) product managed by DecisionPoint. There is no server or overhead, just improved communications. Grapevine is interoperable anywhere in the world across all WWAN and Wi-Fi networks—even over different carriers. A PC client is also available for back office personnel, making it ideal for immediate communications between dispatch and field workers. Grapevine is highly scalable and supports communication with up to 5,000 individuals and 100 participants at once in a group. Key features include high-quality voice with audio alerts, a private and secure network with voice encryption and sub-second transmission.

Motorola’s Enterprise Mobility Validated Solution Program provides partners with the opportunity to co-validate their software solutions on Motorola products in order to ensure interoperability, as well as to accelerate solution deployment and increase customer confidence.

“We are very excited about the Motorola EM Validation and the certification is a testament to the quality of Grapevine,” stated Brent Felker, DecisionPoint’s Vice President of Field Mobility. “This designation assures our customers of a reliable and immediate communication solution that has been certified by Motorola Solutions.”
