During the 23rd MCAA Annual Meeting couriers from across the United States joined to share their good ideas during focus groups.  Here are a few of the good ideas that were mentioned during the show and in the MCAA blog:

• Reduce costs by moving customers to electronic billing and online order entries
• Reduce the use of paper with bar code scanners, even for those customers who are wedded to paper. One participant spoke about a customer that used to insist they use their own forms. Gradually, they’ve even been able to switch them over to scanners.
• With signature capture, customers can see the signature right on their mobile devices. It also helps you build efficiencies by getting true measures of performance.
