DPLink is a DecisionPoint Technologies software application designed to streamline and accelerate the deployment of wearable devices and mobile solutions including tight integration with ProGlove MAI. Whether you’re piloting ProGlove MAI for picking and packing or scaling a broader wearable strategy, DPLink removes common technical barriers so projects move from concept to productive use far more quickly.

Built for flexibility and scalability, DPLink operates as a connector that bridges hardware and software environments to deliver rapid, reliable integration without custom coding. The platform provides low-code/no-code configuration, broadcast-intent connectivity for Android apps like Velocity, and a rich command set for remote device control so teams can configure workflows, manage devices, and automate data flows from a single interface.

DPLink works with devices using the Android operating system version 11 and greater.

Key Features

DPLink is optimized for use with the Ivanti Velocity browser/emulator, allowing organizations with new and existing Velocity deployments to add ProGlove MAI support seamlessly. Scripts utilizing no-code configuration forms, can be added to projects without special development making it easy to extend functionality or adapt to new workflows.

DPLink empowers IT teams, solution architects, and software developers to configure device workflows using simple forms and templates via Android broadcast intent, negating the need to create functionality from scratch. This dramatically reduces implementation time and lowers the barrier for both developers, and non-developers, to deploy and manage ProGlove MAI projects.

The app includes a robust command structure, enabling remote execution of device functions such as obtaining or configuring device settings, capturing MAC addresses of Bluetooth connected devices, or sending and receiving data from other applications. Commands can be broadcast to the app, which then handles execution and communication with the hardware.

DPLink supports background services for data collection and transmission, including image capture, WEB Socket, and REST API integration. This allows for advanced use cases such as sending device images to web endpoints, or integrating with other enterprise systems.

While DPLink is designed to accelerate ProGlove MAI deployments, its architecture is device-agnostic. Future releases will support additional hardware and workflows, making DPLink a scalable platform for broader frontline enablement.
